On May 27, 2023, the Embassy participated in the International Gastronomic festival held annually in the Salvadoran capital, San Salvador.

The Festival was organized in collaboration with the Association of Spouses of Diplomats.

At the Qatari stand, the Embassy team offered visitors to the Festival a set of typical and renowned dishes that pleased their palates, such as the roast lamb dish and rice with chicken. In addition, Qatari beverages such as Karak were served.

The dishes presented at this festival were sold to Salvadoran citizens and international visitors to the event at very symbolic prices.

A part of these profits were dedicated to the most vulnerable in the country, through an association that was present at the Festival.
