The Embassy of the State of Qatar in El Salvador, in the face of the emergency in the country due to the global health crisis caused by COVID-19, expresses its solidarity with the Salvadoran people and all those who suffer the direct consequences of the pandemic.
In the context of this crisis, the Embassy of the State of Qatar is pleased to announce that a donation of personal protective equipment for journalists was granted through the Association of Journalists of El Salvador, APES.
The Embassy of Qatar, aware of the important work that journalists carry out every day and of the exposure that they also face due to the covid-19 pandemic, will deliver 10,000 surgical masks and 200 bottles of alcohol gel intended for all journalists who have greater exposure to contagion.
The Embassy of the State of Qatar in El Salvador reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting the Salvadoran people through other efforts in the face of the current crisis in the country, trusting that, with everyone's help, El Salvador will emerge stronger from the current situation.
