The Embassy of the State of Qatar in El Salvador made a donation to the National Children's Hospital "Benjamin Bloom"

On June 16, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in El Salvador made a donation to the National Children's Hospital "Benjamin Bloom", with the purpose of helping the hospital have supplies that reduce the level of contagion and spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases among children who receive health services provided by the hospital. And likewise, to know first-hand the work carried out by the hospital.

This donation that benefits around 400 boys and girls between the ages of 0 to 12, who are cared for in the preventive and curative health services of said hospital, consists of five thousand children's masks, recreational material and essential health products to strengthen the sanitary measures and the prevention of risks due to virus infections.

The supplies were received by the Vice Minister of Health Management and Development, Dr. Carlos Alvarenga and the Director of the National Children's Hospital "Benjamin Bloom", Dr. Ángel Alvarado, who thanked the diplomatic representation for their support.

In this way, the Embassy of Qatar in El Salvador reiterates its commitment to contribute to preserving the health of the Salvadoran population while the current health crisis lasts.
